My little boy 4 months, height 65. Looks very stylish. But the narrow neck. Would not hurt to do rivet or button, maybe head hard to get through.

For a child of 6 months 8 kg a little long sleeves, quite freely sits like an oversize. But the neck is still narrow, barely shoved the head.
